We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomy Technician to become a valued member of the PathCare family at our Louis Trichardt depot, located in the beautiful Limpopo province. In this role, you will play a vital part in the diagnostic process, directly impacting the lives of patients in our community.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Phlebotomy Technician.
  • Must be currently registered with the HPCSA.
  • Being able to use computers and knowing Skylims is a plus.
  • Must have a driver’s license (Code B) without any restrictions.
  • Experience drawing blood is a must.
  • Experience in pathology, like knowing the order of draw, using Point of Care tools such as Hemocue and Stratus, and performing arterial blood gas tests, is a big plus.
  • Must focus on clients and pay close attention to details.
  • Must be able to communicate well, both verbally and electronically.
  • Must be able to handle stress and keep going even when things are tough.
  • Must be creative, and focused on getting results.
  • Must be caring and understanding.
  • Must be able to change easily and work well with others.
  • Must be able to speak English fluently.
  • Must be willing to work different shifts.
