Job Description

Ligpos (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Skrynwerker (Carpenter) to join their team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacturing of high-quality furniture and built-in cupboards. The position also involves on-site installations where necessary and the general maintenance of machinery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership:
   • Lead project teams and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
   • Maintain strong interpersonal relationships and ensure good team dynamics.
2. Machinery Maintenance:
   • Manage the upkeep of machinery, including tasks such as blade replacements and other necessary repairs.
3. On-Site Installation:
   • Conduct installations on client premises where required.
4. Problem-Solving:
   • Apply solution-oriented thinking to tackle challenges that arise during projects.
5. General Responsibilities:
   • Handle woodworking tasks to create quality products.
   • Maintain professionalism and cleanliness on-site.

Critical Requirements

• Experience:
  • Proven experience and knowledge in woodworking.
  • Ability to maintain machinery and tools effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to stay on-site for installations if necessary.

Beneficial Requirements

• Skills:
  • Experience in design and use of computer-aided drawing (CAD) programs.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines.
  • Experience with steelwork and electrical systems is a plus.
