Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement:
- Assist customers in selecting the best products for their pets, providing knowledgeable advice on food, toys, and care supplies.
- Ensure a warm and friendly shopping experience for all customers.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about pet products and care techniques to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Inventory Management:
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to create a positive, efficient, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
Skills and Competencies
- Animal Enthusiast: A genuine love and passion for animals and their care.
- Team Player: Friendly, approachable, and able to work well with others.
- Customer-Focused: Strong ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
- Adaptability: Open to learning and taking on various tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Prior experience in retail or animal care is a plus, but not required. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are most important!
