Job Description
Driver
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a top company for managing cash, needs a Driver in Louis Trichardt. You will report to the Branch Manager.
Because this driver job involves using guns, you must provide a current medical certificate that proves you are healthy enough to carry and use a gun before you can start working. This is required by law.
You don’t need the medical certificate for the first interview. But, if we are seriously thinking about hiring you, and you go through background checks, you will need to provide it then.
The medical certificate must be less than 3 months old when you start the driver job.
Key Duties:
Protect and move valuables between locations, and drive as needed to do the driver job.
Keep the vehicle in good shape and follow all rules for equipment and vehicles.
Get and sign for all equipment, making sure it works.
Check the vehicle and fill out a checklist.
Be responsible for all technology and equipment in the vehicle.
Check the vehicle after finishing work.
Drive carefully and report any accidents or problems.
Drive safely and follow all traffic laws.
Tell the branch and the correct authorities about any incidents.
Follow the vehicle’s operating rules.
Control scheduled trips.
Do routine checks before leaving the branch.
Tell control right away if the vehicle stops or might stop working.
Follow rules to protect the crew and what is being transported.
Practice security procedures and stay alert.
Take action if anything suspicious is seen.
Health and Safety:
Take part in safety discussions.
Tell someone about any safety problems that happen.
Go to safety training and updates.
Follow all safety rules and steps at work.
Always wear your safety gear.
The Perfect Person for the Job
Needed:
Completed Grade 11 or 12
Current PSIRA Certificate
Current PDP License
CIT Certificate
Current SAPS Firearm Competency for Business
Able to handle stress and work quickly in dangerous situations
Good at judging risks and reacting fast
Able to work with others
Follows rules and guidelines
