Job Goal:
Bidvest main purpose of this job is to do general work inside and outside the Container Yard, following Bidvest International Logistics’ rules (QWI). The person hired will be in charge of keeping the yard in good condition.

2 years as a general worker
Experience
Experience in a warehouse or Container yard.
Must have safety training and certifications, and be aware of safety.
Main Job Duties:
Operations:
Use the ride-on scrubber to clean the container yard, washbay, and office area. Report any problems you see.
Daily Check: Look at the container stacks each day to make sure they are stacked safely and securely.
Do regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment.
Help with general tasks in the yard.
Skills & Abilities
Knowledge:
Understands basic warehouse rules.
Knows how to safely drive and use forklifts.
Pays close attention to details.
Skills:
Should be open to working different hours.
Needs to understand basic English.
Must be able to do the job well even when things are stressful.
The job needs someone who can bend, kneel, and squat sometimes.
