Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop financial strategies: Formulate budgets and forecasts to support business growth and profitability.
- Align with corporate strategy: Ensure that financial plans are in line with the overall strategic direction of the company.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Accurate financial reporting: Prepare financial statements that adhere to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Cash Flow & Risk Management
- Manage cash flow: Oversee cash flow processes, monitor financial risks, and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Risk mitigation: Identify and mitigate financial risks while optimizing cash flow.
Investment Analysis
- Assess financial performance: Monitor and evaluate property investment performance and conduct financial analysis on acquisitions and disposals.
Process Improvement
- Enhance financial operations: Streamline financial systems and controls to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
Team Management
- Lead financial team: Provide guidance and mentorship to the financial team, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance expectations.
Stakeholder Liaison

Strategic Decision Support
- Support business decisions: Offer financial insights to support high-level business decisions such as property acquisitions, sales, and investments.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Tax filings: Ensure tax compliance and corporate governance align with current legislation and industry regulations.
Ad-hoc Projects
- Manage special projects: Lead financial projects, including internal audits, system upgrades, and investment evaluations.
Requirements
Education
- Qualified CA(SA) (Essential)
Experience
- 10+ years in senior financial roles
- Experience in property management (Advantageous)
- Proven experience in financial management and strategic business decision-making
- Expertise in managing financial teams and advising on financial strategies
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting
- Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting
