Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Parts Procurement
- Manage the acquisition of truck and bakkie parts.
- Ensure accurate and timely ordering of parts in coordination with the parts buyer.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers to track deliveries and address discrepancies.
Job Card Management
- Efficiently open and close job cards, capturing all necessary details for billing and reporting.
- Ensure all job card information is up-to-date and accurate.
Stock Management
- Conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure critical parts are always available to support workshop operations.
Data Entry and Record-Keeping
- Update and maintain records for parts orders, inventory, and job cards in the company’s systems.
- Generate reports to support workshop operations and management.
Communication and Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure seamless repairs and maintenance workflows.
- Address customer and team inquiries professionally and promptly.
Administrative Support
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, record-keeping, and report generation.
- Assist in developing and improving workshop processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience as a parts buyer for trucks and bakkies is essential.
- Proficiency in computer systems for job card management, stock tracking, and administration.
- Demonstrates accuracy in stock management and job card processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison with suppliers, customers, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain records, inventory, and job cards.
- Works well in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
