Overview
Tracker Connect is offering 8 young South Africans the opportunity to participate in the System Support Learnership Programme (NQF Level 5). The program, based at Tracker’s Head Office in Johannesburg, will begin on 01 February 2025.
The learnership provides a structured combination of unit-standard-based learning and practical workplace experience, totaling 147 credits. Upon completion, participants will have gained key competencies in IT system support and related business operations.
Key Outputs and Competencies
Participants will acquire the following skills:
- Troubleshooting: Logical problem-solving for common hardware and software issues.
- Business IT Integration: Understanding technology’s role within business operations.
- Communication Systems: Developing technology-based systems for enhanced business communication.
- Data Management: Efficient storage, retrieval, and management of organizational knowledge.
- Information Security: Ensuring secure systems to protect against data loss and breaches.
- Business IT Design: Structuring IT systems for operational efficiency and resource optimization.
- Problem-Solving: Leveraging technology to address specific business challenges.
- Project Efficiency: Performing cost-effective technology-based projects.
- Customer Relations: Managing customer interactions effectively.
- Adaptability: Operating within dynamic change, release, and configuration processes.
- Technology Research: Utilizing tools and repositories for research and knowledge management.
- Opportunity Identification: Recognizing and communicating business opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens with a valid SA ID.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old with no criminal record.
- Hold a Matric certificate and a Technical Support NQF Level 4 qualification (or equivalent).
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Possess basic computer skills and a strong desire to learn.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
