Centlec, a leading is seeking to fill 50 General Worker positions to support our operations and ensure a clean and efficient working environment. We are looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team.
Compensation: These positions offer a competitive annual salary of R200,256 per worker.
Job Responsibilities: As a General Worker at Centlec, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Office Sanitation: Thoroughly clean all office areas daily, ensuring a tidy and professional workspace for our employees. This includes dusting, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces.
- Waste Management: Regularly collect and dispose of trash from all offices, ensuring bins are emptied and properly maintained to prevent overflow and maintain a sanitary environment.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen area clean, hygienic, and well-stocked. This involves wiping down counters, cleaning spills, and ensuring all surfaces are free of debris.
- Beverage Service: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including tea, coffee, and water, to staff and visitors, providing excellent customer service.
- Dishwashing and Kitchen Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware after use. Thoroughly clean the kitchen area, including floors, cabinets, and appliances, utilizing appropriate cleaning products and ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Parking Lot Upkeep: Clean and maintain the parking lots daily, ensuring they are free of debris, litter, and hazards, providing a safe and presentable environment for employees and visitors.
- Site Office Living Space and Bathroom Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of site office living spaces and bathrooms, ensuring a comfortable and sanitary environment for personnel working on-site. This includes cleaning toilets, sinks, showers, and floors.
- Supervisor Assistance: Assist the supervisor by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of parking areas and other designated zones, contributing to a positive and safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for a General Worker position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education: A minimum of a Grade 8 education is required.
- Health: Candidates must be in good health and capable of performing the physical demands of the job.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in at least two of South Africa’s official languages is essential to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively is paramount. Additionally, candidates must possess strong communication skills to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization, including managers.
- Experience: Prior experience with physical labor, cleaning, or maintenance tasks is considered a strong advantage.
