Introduction:
Job at Anza Corporation needs a skilled Sales Executive to boost income for their two lodges (Louis Trichardt & Alldays) and the Louis Trichardt conference centre.
This job needs someone with solid experience in the hospitality and event business, who can find new customers, get business clients, work with travel companies, and connect with event planners. The right person for the job will help sell more rooms, corporate getaways, and conference events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales and Growing the Business: Create and carry out a sales plan to get more people staying at the lodges and using the conference center, bringing in more money.
Find and create working relationships with companies, government groups, travel companies, and travel agents.
Move into new business areas like company getaways, classes, training, weddings, and special occasions.
Work with people who plan events, conferences, and weddings to make Anza Corporation’s places known as great spots for events and conferences.
Get group reservations, longer stays, and special event deals with companies and organizations. - Keeping Good Relationships: Make and keep strong connections with travel agents, tour companies, event planners, and company leaders.
Work with event companies, tourism groups, business groups, and conference organizers to get business.
Create and keep up a list of important people in the industry to help bring in money for a long time.
Do visits, tours, and events at the lodges and conference centers to show them off. - Selling Events and Conferences: Create and sell conference and event deals made for company meetings, government classes, weddings, and parties.
Work closely with event planners to make custom plans for clients.
Make sure events run smoothly by helping with food, sound and video, and places to stay. - Marketing & Advertising:
Work with the marketing group to develop ads job for company trips, events, and travel deals.
Improve the company’s image on social media, travel websites, and event listings for businesses.
Promote Anza Corporation at travel shows, fairs, and business gatherings.
- Income & Results:
Keep an eye on sales goals, how full the venues are, and how much money is made, and give regular reports to leaders.
Watch what competitors charge and what’s new in the industry to improve sales plans for the job.
Create sales and income estimates for leaders to check.
Qualification:
Must have a diploma or degree in tourism, marketing, business, or a similar area.
At least 5 years of work history in hotels, travel, tourism, or selling events is needed.
Must have many contacts and good connections with businesses, travel sellers, tour companies, and event planners.
Should have a record of success in selling conferences and events, handling business reservations, and running venues.
Must be good at negotiating, talking to people, and giving presentations.
Must be able to travel often and work different hours to meet customer demands.
Skills:
Good at sales and motivated, with a love for the hotel and event business.
Able to find new customers and create lasting business relationships.
Experienced in selling to both businesses and individual customers.
Very organized, good at doing many things at once, and can solve problems well.
Familiarity with online marketing and using online travel and event booking sites is helpful.
