Job Overview

OOS VRYSTAAT KAAP BEDRYF BPK is looking for a Receiving Clerk to join their team in Bloemfontein. This role involves the effective receipt and control of inventory, ensuring that stock is accurately received, stored, and managed. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in administrative tasks related to stock management.


Minimum Requirements

📌 Education:
✔ Grade 12

📌 Experience:
✔ 1-2 years experience in stock receipt within a trading environment
✔ 2 years experience in customer service and inventory control (recommended but not required)

📌 Skills & Competencies:
✔ Proficient in Afrikaans and English (strong communication skills)
✔ Proficient in MS Office
✔ Good numerical ability and attention to detail
✔ Strong organizational skills


Key Responsibilities

✔ Inventory Management:

  • Receive and check stock deliveries for accuracy and quality.
  • Ensure inventory control procedures are followed.
  • Oversee shelf management, ensuring proper stock organization.

✔ Customer Service & Cash Handling:

  • Provide excellent customer service and assist clients when needed.
  • Handle cash transactions as part of the daily operations.

✔ Administrative Functions:

  • Perform administrative duties related to stock management, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels.
