Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of a fleet exceeding 400 vehicles to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • Track vehicle locations, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption for optimal operations.

Maintenance Coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate regular servicing, inspections, and repairs for all vehicles.
  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with maintenance schedules and regulatory standards.

Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison between drivers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Communicate vehicle statuses, maintenance updates, and logistical information effectively.

Compliance

  • Maintain up-to-date licenses, permits, and insurance for the entire fleet.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal, safety, and regulatory standards.

Reporting

  • Generate detailed reports on fleet performance, maintenance records, and operational issues.
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve performance.

Problem Solving

  • Address and resolve fleet-related issues, such as breakdowns or disruptions, promptly.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure smooth workflow.

Fleet Optimization

  • Collaborate with the team to implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Enhance overall fleet efficiency and performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fleet Controller, managing a fleet of 400+ vehicles.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage high-pressure situations efficiently.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for fleet operations.
  • A team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
