We’re seeking an experienced Fridge Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration systems on trucks. If you’re passionate about keeping things cool and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units for trucks to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools to quickly and effectively identify and resolve refrigeration system issues.
- System Installation: Install and commission refrigeration systems on vehicles according to industry standards.
- Temperature Control: Calibrate systems accurately to maintain precise temperature settings.
- Troubleshooting: Address and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Compliance: Ensure all refrigeration systems meet required health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fleet and operational teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure vehicles are road-ready.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications: Relevant certification or qualification in refrigeration mechanics.
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with refrigeration systems on trucks.
- Proven Track Record: Strong ability to maintain, repair, and install refrigeration units effectively.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime or be on call when required.
