General Worker Responsibilities:
As a General Workers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client’s facility. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately and efficiently pick and pack orders for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring that all items are prepared according to the provided schedule and specific requirements. This includes verifying product codes, quantities, and packaging instructions.
- Loading and Unloading Assistance: Provide assistance with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, utilizing safe lifting techniques and adhering to established safety protocols to prevent injuries or damage to goods.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workspace: Actively contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. This involves routine cleaning tasks, proper disposal of waste, and adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Inventory Control: Report any observed stock discrepancies, such as damaged goods, missing items, or incorrect quantities, to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner. This helps maintain accurate inventory records and prevents potential losses.
- Other duties as assigned: Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure efficient operation of the organization as general workers.
Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport goods or personnel to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Load and unload goods as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license (for driver positions).
