GOAL:
This is a training program where people will learn:
- How to collaborate with others
- Safety practices
- Using basic tools
- Understanding manufacturing drawings and measurements
- Welding techniques
- Running and watching machines that make things
- Getting surfaces ready
- Putting out fires
- How to manage and send out products

Needed skills and background:
A National Technical Certificate (levels N3 to N6)
High school or technical high school degree including Math and either Physics or Engineering Science, plus Electrical, Mechanical, or Motor Trade Theory, and Mechanical Drawing or Graphical Design.
SKILLS:
Able to talk clearly.
Good at planning and getting things in order.
Can change easily when needed.
Good at thinking things through.
Gets correct info and looks at it carefully.
Keeps going even when things are hard.
