Job Description

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

BROLL, This entry-level position within the Resilient Portfolio team is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our real estate investments. The broll primary responsibility is to maintain the physical integrity and functionality of our buildings through consistent upkeep and proactive maintenance. This broll role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong practical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building Maintenance and Repairs: Perform broll routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), painting, patching drywall, replacing light bulbs, and addressing minor structural issues.
  • Equipment Installation and Replacement: Assist in the installation of new equipment, appliances, and fixtures within our properties. This may involve working with a variety of tools and following established safety protocols. Also, responsible for the safe removal and disposal of old or broken equipment.
  • General Building Repairs: Respond to and address general building repair needs as they arise, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for tenants and visitors.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork related to completed jobs, including detailed descriptions of work performed, materials used, and time spent. Maintain organized records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment information.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Provide support to other staff members as needed, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This may include assisting with various operational tasks and supporting the overall goals of the Resilient Portfolio team.
  • Maintenance Request Management: Receive, prioritize, and address maintenance requests submitted by various departments and tenant groups, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to managers regarding the status of maintenance activities, potential problems, and any significant repairs that may be required. Proactively communicate any concerns or observations that could impact the building’s operations.
