Job Overview
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Pricing Specialist to join their team in Midrand. The role requires a highly analytical professional with expertise in pricing strategies, market trend analysis, and revenue optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing models that maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to make data-driven pricing decisions.
- Research industry benchmarks to ensure competitive pricing.
✔ Pricing Model Development:
- Develop and maintain pricing models and databases to track performance.
- Use data analytics tools to assess pricing effectiveness.
✔ Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with sales, finance, and product teams to align pricing strategies with company goals.
- Provide pricing recommendations based on insights gathered from various departments.
✔ Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track pricing performance and sales trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Adjust pricing strategies to ensure profitability and revenue growth.
✔ Compliance & Accuracy:
- Ensure that pricing structures comply with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accuracy in pricing calculations and contracts.
Minimum Requirements
📌 Education:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
📌 Experience:
✔ 2+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or a similar role.
📌 Technical & Soft Skills:
✔ Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
✔ Proficiency in data analysis tools and pricing software.
✔ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
✔ High attention to detail and accuracy in pricing calculations.
