Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Grade 10 certificate (or equivalent qualification).
  • License:
    • A valid, unexpired EC driver’s license.
    • Valid Professional Driver’s Permit (PdP).
  • Experience: 1–3 years’ experience in the operation of heavy motor vehicles.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Proficiency in driving and operating heavy vehicles.
    • Understanding of organizational policies and logistics processes.
    • Basic knowledge of process flow.
    • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

Key Duties

  1. Logistics Operations:
    • Implement best practices in driver/operation systems.
    • Analyze and improve logistics operations.
  2. Delivery and Collection:
    • Transport passengers and maintain a delivery/pickup register.
  3. Vehicle Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine inspections for visible defects on vehicles.
    • Monitor fluid levels and ensure regular vehicle maintenance.
    • Perform periodic vehicle maintenance checks.
  4. Vehicle and Equipment Safekeeping:
    • Ensure vehicles and equipment are securely stored.
    • Maintain cleanliness in storage areas to prevent fire hazards.
  5. Special Requests and Safety Compliance:
    • Attend to special assignments as required.
    • Promote and ensure occupational health and safety adherence.
