Tsebo are hiring a General Assistant to work with us. This person will help Cooks and Chefs prepare food, use the cash register, serve meals, and ensure the canteen and kitchen are tidy.

TSEBO has been providing catering services to all parts of the community for 52 years. The ideal candidate should have a lot of experience working with clients and in operations.
Responsibilities:
Follow all company and legal rules about cleanliness and hygiene in everything you do.
Make sure customer service, how things are done, safety, and food quality are all top-notch.
Help get food ready, mostly salads and sweets.
Put main dishes, salads, sweets, and other food on the serving line.
Keep the serving line full and tidy.
May help teach new workers.
Store leftover food and keep track of it.
Keep tsebo the eating area, kitchen, and other spaces neat and organized.
Make sure we give customers what they expect, as agreed in our contract.
Provide great customer service in your work area.
If needed, count the stock in your area and hand it over to the right people on the next shift, with signatures.
Do any task that management asks you to do that makes sense.
Tell someone and try to fix things when customers or clients complain or praise us.
Go to meetings and training when needed.
Do other related jobs as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Should like hands-on and organized tasks.
Be trustworthy and dependable.
Have good coordination between hands and eyes.
Be able to work fast and without getting hurt.
Keep oneself clean.
Not have skin problems from food or cleaning products.
Be able to talk to people well.
Must be able to work well with others.
Must be able to work long hours each week (45-50 hours).
Be able to stoop, stand, and carry things.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old. Must have finished high school or equivalent.
