Job Overview
Core Group, representing iStore, is seeking a dynamic Support Technician Intern to join their in-store technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience with Apple products. You will work alongside experienced technicians to support and troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, providing an invaluable learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers both in-store and over the phone.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
- Install and configure new hardware and software for customers.
- Assist customers in utilizing their Apple products to their fullest potential.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and repairs.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth store operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed Matric.
- A+ N+ Qualification (Basic hardware and networking knowledge).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems.
